How to deactivate your iTunes account

How to delete iTunes account. iTunes is one of the most popular computer software programs in the world today. It comes pre- installed on every Mac device, and is installed by millions of people on their Windows PC. Essentially, iTunes is a music player/ library software program that can store all of your music. However, Apple has incorporated a lot of different features that make it so much more than just a simple music player. For starters, it can also play online radio. But, iTunes is not used as a primary radio player. Instead, it is the proprietary device management application for all Apple devices. If you own an iPhone, iPad or an iPod, you will need to have iTunes installed in to your computer in order to install files, update apps and to transfer data. You can however, easily deauthorize a computer from iTunes, using the steps given below:

1. Open iTunes

If you want to deauthorize iTunes on this computer, open the program directly from your browser. For Mac users, the icon is located right below the screen, while Windows users can find the icon on their desktop or run it from the Start Menu.

2. Get to the Store Menu

At the top left hand of the screen, you will see a list of several options. Click on the one that says ‘Store’. A drop down menu will open, and you will see an option that says ‘Deauthorize this computer’. Click on it.
